Girls Basketball: Shen cruises past Mohonasen

CLIFTON PARK — The Shenendehowa girls basketball team stayed perfect Tuesday night and picked up its 10th win of the season with a 76-43 pasting of Mohonasen.

The Plainsmen (10-0) led 50-23 at halftime, as guard Carly Boland scored 15 of her team-high 21 points in the first half.

Shenendehowa forward Sydney Brown and Samira Sangare each had a dozen points, while Brown coupled her scoring with 10 rebounds. Guard Erin Hulbert and Sydney Quinn each collected eight points, while guard Alexandra Tudor added six.

In all 10 Plainsmen scored and 14 played.

Mohonasen received a game-high 23 points from Saeeda Abdul-Aziz.

Shenendehowa is now 7-0 in the Suburban Council.
