Boys Swimming: Lydon wins diving crown

CLIFTON PARK — Shenendehowa’s Nick Lydon took first place in Thursday’s Section II diving championships, while Glens Falls’ Raislan Aiken took second and Niskayuna’s Jack Newton was third.

Lydon finished with a school-record score of 546.85; Aiken compiled 529.70 points; and, Newton collected 493.40.

Finishing in fourth place was Shenendehowa’s Ian Killane, while Niskayuna’s Matt Chao came in fifth.

The event was conducted at the Shenendehowa Aquatics Center.
