Boys Lacrosse: Plainsmen suffer 1st loss

CLIFTON PARK — The Shenendehowa boys lacrosse team suffered its first loss of the season Friday against Mercer Island in a non-league game, 14-11.

For the Plainsmen, Owen Putman had four goals and an assist, while Peter Russo had two goals.

Shenendehowa (2-0 Suburban Council, 3-1) outscored Mercer Island in the final stanza, 7-3.

Mercer Island is from Washington.
