One person was injured this morning after her vehicle cut in front of a school bus near the Moe Road entrance to the Shenendehowa school campus, state police said.
The accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. while the bus, carrying 12 students and the bus driver, was southbound on Moe Road.
Police said a 2008 Ford operated by Michelle M. Kraft, 43, of Clifton Park, pulled into the path of the bus. Kraft’s vehicle was struck in the driver’s side door by the school bus.
Kraft was extricated from her vehicle by the Jonesville Fire Department and transported to Ellis Hospital by the Clifton Park-Halfmoon EMS for what police said were non-life threatening injuries. Police said neither the students nor the bus driver were injured in the collision.
Kraft was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
