Shenendehowa athletics rundown: May 13

CLIFTON PARK — Here are four things to know for today about Shenendehowa athletics:

1: After losing Monday to Saratoga Springs, the Shenendehowa baseball team will look to rebound today with a game against Niskayuna. With a victory, the Plainsmen will clinch the Suburban Council’s top victory.

2: Playing in a televised game, the Shenendehowa boys lacrosse team fell to Niskayuna, 17-8. In the loss, Owen Putman had three goals.

3: In another lacrosse showdown, the Shenendehowa girls lacrosse team lost to Niskayuna, 14-6. The game was played at Union college.

4: The Shenendehowa softball team has its Senior Night today against Niskayuna. The Plainsmen won their last game Monday 7-3 against Saratoga Springs, as both Kelly Barkevich and Marissa Kirker hit home runs.
