The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man with dementia who has been missing since Wednesday evening.

Michael Russell, 62, went missing from the Cook Adult Home on Prospect Street about 6:30 p.m., when he went for his nightly walk, which usually took him to the Stewart’s Shop on Central Avenue in Mechanicville. Deputies said Russell suffers from dementia and schizophrenia, and is due to take medications.

Russell was described as 5’3“, weighing 160 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue button-down shirt, blue jeans and sneakers. He walks with his head tilted slightly to the side.

Anyone with information should contact the sheriff’s office at 885-6761.
