PHOTOS: Shenendehowa hoops teams ready for Columbia

CLIFTON PARK — Heading into Friday’s games against Columbia, both Shenendehowa basketball teams are still undefeated.

Ranked No. 3 in the state, the Shenendehowa boys’ basketball team is 10-0 in Suburban Council play and 13-0 overall. The Plainsmen — the defending Class AA state champions — have won their last three league games by 43 points or more, and own an average winning margin of 33.2 points per game this season.

Meanwhile, the Shenendehowa girls’ basketball team is 9-0 in league play and 11-0 overall. Ranked No. 4 in the state, the Plainsmen are coming off an 85-48 win against Mohonasen and own an average winning margin of 43.8 points per game.

The boys will play at home Friday, while the girls will be on the road.
