State field hockey champions honored

Senator Jim Tedisco (R,C,I,REF-Clifton Park) and Senator Kathleen A. Marchione (R,C,I,REF-Halfmoon) Tuesday welcomed to the State Capitol and honored the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class A State Champion Shenendehowa Field Hockey Team. They presented the team with a copy of a resolution they sponsored that unanimously passed the New York State Senate honoring the team's state championship.  

The Shenendehowa Field Hockey Team secured its second state championship in four years after defeating Scarsdale High School 2-1.
