CLIFTON PARK — The Christ Community Reformed Church will be holding a three-part Alzheimer’s Education series during the spring.
The church, located at 1010 Route 146 in Clifton Park, will hold a session, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., on May 30, June 6, and June 13. They are free and open to the public.
On May 30, a “Know The 10 Signs” workshop will be held to address a key element to improving life for those with memory lose, which is early detection.
On June 6, in a seminar called, “The Basics,” participants will learn the differences between Alzheimers, and memory loss that comes as a result of normal aging.
On June 13, at the “Effective Communication” seminar, participants will learn how to decode verbal and non-verbal messages from people affected by dementia, as well as communication techniques.
