Maloya police station has registered a case under sections of encroachment against a woman named Geeta and others on the complaint of Chandigarh Housing Board’s Sub Divisional Engineer (SDE) Tarun Kant. In the complaint, the SDE said that there are some flats in Housing Board’s Maloya-1. One of the flats was encroached by someone which was vacated by the police on 20th August last month and the Housing Board took it under its possession and locked it.
Let us tell you that the woman named Geeta who was thrown out of the flat earlier, again took some women with her and broke the lock of the same flat and encroached it again. During this, when both the security guards tried to stop the encroachers, everyone together attacked both the guards. In which they got injured. Both the injured guards immediately informed their higher officials about the incident and police was also called on the spot.
