The 20-year-old car theft case against 86-year-old criminal Dhani Ram Mittal, who used to give verdicts as a fake judge in a Haryana court, steal cars and get many jobs through fraudulent means, will be closed in the district court. During the hearing of this case, Dhani Ram’s lawyer told the court that he had died in April this year. On this, the court has summoned a report from the investigating police officer.
This case was registered against him in 2004 in the case of car theft from the High Court parking. In 2007 also, UT police had registered another case against him. According to the information, the file of that case has been closed. In both these cases, he was arrested last year and the police presented a supplementary charge sheet. Actually, Dhani Ram was absconding in these cases earlier. He had got bail considering his age.
