Gukesh and Arjun Erigaisi won their respective matches. Whereas, Praggnanandhaa and Vidit Gujrati drew their matches. In the women’s category, India won 2.5-1.5 over Kazakhstan. R. Vaishali and Vantika Agrawal won their matches. Divya Deshmukh held Balabayeva to a draw. Whereas, Harika Dronavalli had to face defeat from Bibisara. In the sixth round in the open section, the Indian team will play against host Hungary.
