The police has arrested the accused in the case of kidnapping a 20-year-old female employee of the postal department and taking her to Delhi. The accused has been identified as Balwinder Singh alias Bobby, resident of Rama Mandi. The Delhi Police found the girl unconscious on the roadside. When the police informed the girl’s family, the family brought the girl to Jalandhar. The victim’s mother told Thana-5 police that the daughter had left home for work on August 3, but did not return home at night. On August 4, Delhi Police informed over the phone that the daughter had been found. Thana-5 SHO Bhushan Kumar said that both of them used to work together. The girl’s condition is not good right now, once she regains consciousness, her statement will be recorded and further action will be taken.
