Football: India-Pak will be face to face for the first time after five years

The draw for the SAFF Cup football to be held in Bengaluru in June-July was held on Wednesday. India and Pakistan are in the same group. Both will be face to face on June 21 from 7.30 pm. This will be the first encounter between India and Pakistan after 5 years. Earlier, both had met in Dhaka in September 2018 in the 12th season of the tournament. India won that match 3-1. Indo-Pak have officially played more than 20 internationals, out of which India has won more than a dozen matches. The 14th season of the South Asian Football Federation Cup will be played from June 21 to July 4. India, Pakistan along with Kuwait and Nepal are in Group A while Lebanon, Maldives, Bangladesh and Bhutan are in Group B.
