Police have registered a case against the former principal of DAV School on charges of embezzlement. Police have registered this case on the basis of a complaint given to the SSP by Sharat Chandra, secretary of the school management committee. He has accused the former principal of the school, Narinder Nath Saini, of embezzling Rs 3 crore 82 lakh of the school. The DSP’s investigation revealed that former principal Narinder Nath Saini worked as principal in the school for 23 years.
Along with the job, he was also a member of the school management committee and after retirement, he remained a member of the committee again from 12 April 2021 to December 2022. Single signature accounts were opened by Narinder Saini during his duty without submitting a proposal, in which transactions worth lakhs of rupees took place. And similarly, in the year 2011, a school bus was financed from Chola Mandal Finance for Rs 7 lakh 85 thousand, the payment of which was also made from the school account while the school bus was not used in the school at all. After investigation by DSP Tanda, the police has registered a case and started further action. On the other hand, Narendra Nath Saini has called this case false and the allegation baseless
