Panchkula | In order to avoid inconvenience to the general public during road shows and rallies during the election campaign of candidates and political parties for the Assembly elections, the candidates and political parties will have to follow the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India. It is necessary for any candidate or political party to take permission for vehicles for election campaign. It is necessary to give the details of the vehicles registered for campaigning to the expenditure observer. Deployment of any additional vehicle can be done only if the candidate has given information to this effect well in advance of the actual deployment of the vehicles. A convoy of more than 10 vehicles will not be allowed, except the security vehicle.
