Notice issued to Kangana in the film Emergency case

A petition has been filed in Chandigarh District Court against actress and MP Kangana Ranaut, Ritesh Shah Screen Play and Zoo Studio. In this criminal petition, the court has issued notice to Kangana and others and sought a reply by December 5. In the petition filed by District Court lawyer Ravinder Singh, it was said that Kangana is the actress, director and producer of the film ‘Emergency’. Its trailer is on social media. It has been said that Kangana has tried to tarnish the image of Sikhs in the film. Particularly, the former Jathedar of Akal Takht has been targeted. He has been shown as a terrorist in the film. The petition said that the sentiments of the Sikh community have been hurt by the act of the defendant. In such a situation, UT SSP and SHO-36 should be ordered to register an FIR against the defendant (Kangana and others) under sections like spreading enmity between two communities in the name of religion, caste etc., inciting religious sentiments etc.
