Cricket South Africa has announced a profit of around Rs 382 crore in the financial year 2023-24. The board has benefited from hosting India in two Tests, three ODIs and three T20s earlier this year in broadcasting rights, which generates 54% of its income.
This time the board has earned a profit of about 25.35 crores from the domestic T20 league SA 20. The board has also received a revenue of about 25 crores from the Under-19 World Cup shifted from Sri Lanka to Africa. Africa is also expected to make a profit in the coming financial year, as India is to tour Africa in November for 4 T20s, which will give the board a revenue of about 69 crores per match.
