BALLSTON SPA — Members of the Shenendehowa football program combined March 5 to win the 2016 Ballston Spa Weightlifting Invitational.

Shenendehowa brought 47 athletes to the meet, the most ever for the Plainsmen. Athletes at the invitational compete in three lifts — bench, squat, and power clean — across a variety of weight classes to accrue points for their teams.

Ballston Spa and Troy tied for second place behind Shenendehowa.
