Boys Basketball: Shen wins 11th game in a row

NORTH COLONIE — The Shenendehowa boys basketball team kept rolling through opponents Tuesday, as the Plainsmen picked up a 73-22 victory against Shaker in Suburban Council action.

Shenendehowa (11-0, 9-0) had four players score in double figures, led by Brandon Fischer’s 13 points. Also hitting double digits for the Plainsmen were Petar Bebic with 12 points, and both Kevin Huerter and Thomas Huerter with 11 apiece.

Shaker (6-3, 6-3) received five points from Brian Hayes.

Shenendehowa led 35-11 at halftime.

The Plainsmen have now held their last four opponents to 28 points or fewer. During that stretch, the Shenendehowa defense is allowing an average of 24.3 points per game.
