Oppo Find X9 Series Set to Redefine Smartphone Photography and Performance

Oppo is all set to launch its next-generation flagship smartphones, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, on October 16, 2025 in China, with a global release scheduled for October 28, 2025. The new series promises to elevate smartphone design, performance, and photography capabilities, targeting high-end users and photography enthusiasts.

Design and Build

The Find X9 series introduces a redesigned camera module, moving from the previous circular layout to a rectangular shape with rounded corners. Both models feature a flat metallic frame and a flat glass back, delivering a premium feel. The Find X9 Pro measures 8.24mm in thickness and weighs 224 grams, while the standard Find X9 is slightly slimmer and lighter at 7.99mm and 203 grams. Both devices offer IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring dust and water resistance.

Display Technology

The Find X9 Pro sports a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming, claimed to be the world’s first 1-nit display for reduced eye strain. The standard Find X9 features a 6.59-inch OLED panel with similar specifications. Both devices support Dolby Vision and come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

Performance

Both smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset built on a 3nm process. The Find X9 Pro has achieved over 4 million points on AnTuTu benchmarks, highlighting its flagship performance. Memory and storage options go up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage, enabling smooth multitasking and large storage capacity. The Find X9 Pro also supports SMS via the Beidou satellite system, a notable addition for connectivity in remote areas.

Battery and Charging

The Find X9 Pro is equipped with a 7,500mAh battery, supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, while the standard Find X9 comes with a 7,025mAh battery. Both devices are built to deliver extended battery life, catering to power users.

Camera System

Oppo has partnered with Hasselblad for professional-grade imaging. The Find X9 Pro features a 50MP Sony LYT828 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide Samsung JN5 lens, a 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 2MP multispectral sensor for improved color accuracy. A dedicated Hasselblad imaging kit with magnetic grip and external telephoto converter enhances the 200MP telephoto camera’s performance.
