Punjab: Police seized property of two drug smugglers in Mansa

The district police in Mansa have taken action against drug smugglers by seizing their illegally acquired properties in two separate cases. Dr. Nanak Singh, the District Police Chief of Mansa, announced that a special campaign has been initiated to investigate and confiscate the assets of individuals involved in drug smuggling under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
In the first case, the illegal property of Jeevan Singh, son of Mitthu Singh and a resident of Bahadarpur police station in Bareta, was confiscated. In the second case, the assets of Satnam Singh, also known as Bhagwan, son of Amrik Singh and a resident of Mirpur Khurd police station in Sardulgarh, were seized.
Furthermore, on Saturday, the police confiscated the property of three smugglers, including Sukhpal Singh, son of Hakam Singh and a resident of Gandu Kalan All Abad Ward No. 04 Budhlada. The total value of the seized property amounted to Rs 60 lakh 24 thousand 742.
