Asia Cup: Pakistan to leave ACC for not hosting 4 matches of first round

Pakistan is eager to host the Asia Cup. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is now persuading the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) to host the first four matches of the first round, else it will walk out of the ACC. PCB chairman Najam Sethi’s ‘hybrid’ model has been rejected by other member countries. According to sources, Sethi has proposed to the ACC as part of Plan B of the hybrid model to host 4 matches. If Plan B is rejected, Pakistan will not play in the Asia Cup and will be out of ACC.
