The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) still to finalize the process for its new general housing scheme in Sector-53. The date for launching the scheme will be decided next week pending approval from the Advisor-cum-Chairman of the CHB. The board is preparing to launch the scheme in the last week of this month. During a meeting on Monday, CHB and bank officials discussed the procedure for the housing scheme, including the system for online applications. According to officials, the scheme’s application form has been finalized and applicants will no longer be required to submit any documents for the draw, only an online application. Some changes to the online application system will be finalized in the next one or two days. The CHB plans to submit a proposal for the scheme’s launch date to the chairman later this month.
