Jam Saheb Shatrusalyasinhji of Jamnagar, Gujarat has announced the heir of his royal family. He has chosen former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja as his successor. He said, I am happy that Ajay Jadeja will be the new Jam Saheb of Navanagar.
The current Jam Saheb Shatrusalyasinhji has no children. The domestic cricket tournament Ranji Trophy is played in the name of Jam Saheb Ranjit Singh. The Duleep Trophy is played in the name of Duleep, the son of Ranjit Singh’s brother Juwan Singh.
