India to become world’s second largest economy by 2050: Gautam Adani

Gautam Adani, the second richest businessman in India, has made a bold prediction about the country’s economic future. Speaking at the annual general meeting of his group companies, Adani stated that India would become the second largest economy in the world by 2050. He further added that within the next decade, India would start adding $1 trillion to its GDP every 18 months.
Adani’s prediction is based on the growth potential of India’s economy, which has been steadily increasing over the years. He believes that India’s economic growth will continue to accelerate, driven by factors such as a young and growing population, increasing urbanization, and a rising middle class.
If Adani’s prediction comes true, India’s economy could be worth $25 to 30 trillion (2051 lakh crore to Rs 2462 lakh crore) by 2050, making it one of the largest economies in the world. This growth would also have a significant impact on the country’s stock market, with Adani predicting that its capitalization would exceed $40 trillion.
